Cavaliers waive Ronald Dupree, Jawad Williams gets final spot

The Cleveland Cavaliers announced today that they have waived forward Ronald Dupree. Dupree played in four games during the Cavaliers current preseason, averaging 6.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in 15.0 minutes per game.

The final roster spot was awarded to forward Jawad Williams, a Cleveland native.

The 6-foot-9 Williams averaged 5.5 points in four exhibition games with the Cavs. The former Lakewood St. Edward star won a national title while at North Carolina. The Cavaliers roster now stands at 15.
