Summer has never been better for Covile

Ryvon Covile was thrilled to have an opportunity to play for the Cavaliers on the summer league roster.  He was hoping to have been drafted from the University of Detroit Mercy.  Like many others who have tried and succeeded, the path for Covile may be a long one.

The 6’ 9” 250 pound forward made the most of his minutes.  The hardest part of the game in the NBA according to Covile is “in the middle lane with the three second rule.  In college you could sit there all day”.  Covile shot 47% from the field and contributed four points and more than two boards per game.  We wish the best for Covile and hope he will be one of those we see for years to come in the NBA.
