Cavaliers Beat The Clippers

The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Los Angeles Clippers 103-95 at Staples Center last night and for the first time this season they are above .500 at 4-3.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored a season high 25 points, James added 22 points eight assists and a season-high six steals.

Drew Gooden added 18 points and 17 rebounds.

Mike Brows is experimenting with a new line up. Devin Brown, Damon Jones and Ira Newble all played the entire fourth quarter and proved to be effective. Jones and Brown combined for 17 points, and Newble had eight rebounds

Sam Cassell scored 28 points for the Clippers, who lost their second in a row after opening the season 4-0. Corey Maggette had 25 points and 11 rebounds. Kaman added 21 points.

The Cavaliers shot 50.6 percent from the floor, their best shooting performance of the season.

Sasha Pavlovic only played seven minutes.  He left because of back spasms and he is questionable for tonight’s game in Denver.
