The Hornets were without one of their two best players due to injury and the Cavaliers couldn’t stop the Hornets. The game was very close until the Hornets went on a 15-2 run late in the fourth and solidify their lead.

“Ultimately, the Hornets’ superstar, Chris Paul, outplayed the Cavs’, LeBron James, and that was a major factor in the outcome.” Brian Windhorst, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer said.

Chris Paul scored 24 points with 15 assists. Lebron scored 15 points with 13 assists and he only attempted three shots in the fourth.

“As an individual, I never got into an offensive groove,” said James. “I got my teammates involved. I was able to come off pin-downs and they were open, but me – scoring-wise – I never really got into a comfortable zone all night tonight.”

Mo Williams finished with 11 points and four assist. He still thinks the new looks is still a work in progress.

“We’re just trying to get everything right,” said the Cavs starting point man. “On a personal note, I’m not there yet, as far as where I want to be. I’m still trying to get comfortable. Everything is there – it’s just a matter of getting it to click. But we’ll get it.”

Turnovers were a problem for the Cavaliers again, they committed 18 turnovers that led to 26 points for the Hornets.

“We’ve got to cut down on the unforced turnovers,” James said. “If you commit one trying to make a play, you can’t fault that but you can fault the unforced ones.”
