Ira Newble signs contract with Lakers

George Thomas writing for Ohio.Com has said that former Cleveland Cavalier Ira Newble has signed a contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. According to Thomas, the Cavs offered Newble a spot on the team Wednesday but could not come to terms. The Cavs still have one open roster spot that they can fill.
