LeBron Injured in blowout

Thu, Nov 29, 2007 By GFO

Cavaliers News, LeBron James

Before tipoff James’ had a few words for the fans booing him at courtside.  “You boo me because you fear me.”  Unfortunately for us the only fear last night was that of Cavs fans after Lebron suffered a sprained left index finger in the Cavs’ 109-74 loss to the Detroit Pistons.  He watched the game from then bench, dressed in his street clothes.
X-rays taken at the Palace of Auburn Hills showed no fracture and James returned to the bench with his index and middle finger taped together in the second half.
James traveled with the team to Toronto following the game and he is expected to get additional X-rays and an MRI today in Toronto. That test will show if there is any structural damage to the finger.
