Donaghy probe Widens
Tim Donaghy has impacted the NBA more than most people can imagine. Stephen A Smith remarks, “It says to the fans, the game itself that you’re watching, the competitive fervor it involves and everything that comes along with it, just throw it out the window because somebody is trying to dictate the outcome.”
The federal investigation currently underway is reviewing as many as 15 games where Donaghy made calls that could have affected the margin of victory. Sources close to the investigation say Donaghy had a gambling problem and was working with bookies with organized crime connections to pay off his debts.

Not sure about the finals. Definitely there was a lot of bad calls especially in game 4. I do remember a bad foul he called on Anderson in the Detroit series though.

I here people say how can one person make a difference in the outcome of a game… my answer to that is the look on several cavs players faces in the championship when the calls where coming at them like fragments of sharp metal. They stop playing there game… Didn’t everyone say “why is LeBron not driving to the basket, not taking over the game” I say the right calls at the right time and he know that if he played his game he would be on the bench not helping at all!!! that is how one man can change a game… take the heart out of there star!!!!!
